**Located in the Garner Science Building on the Muskogee (Port) Connors State College Campus.**

 

Presented by:

Dr. Kaylin Coody has over forty years of experience in Oklahoma public schools. Recently retired as a Superintendent, she currently serves as Associate Director of OSAC. She brings expertise in special education, speech-language pathology, school finance and leadership. She has presented at numerous local, state and national conferences and provided consultation services to a variety of schools across the state.

 

Target Audience:

All paraprofessionals and teacher assistants

 

Purpose:

This training provides introduction and practice for the Para Prep test and then taking the actual test. Passing the Para Pro is one of the acceptable criteria to meet the requirements for working with all students.

8:30-8:45       Welcome, Introductions & Details

 

8:45-9:30       What is the Para Pro?

 

9:30-10:15     Looking at the Review

 

10:15-11        BREAK

 

11-12             Para Pro Practice

 

12-12:30       Working Lunch (provided) – General Test Prep

 

12:30-1         Para Pro Practice

 

1-1:45            BREAK

 

1:45-5:00       Para Pro Assessment

Cancellation Policy:

Since meals, presenters, training materials, and other costs are pre-paid by OSAC, please provide notice of cancellation at least 4 days prior to any OSAC event you are registered to attend. Your district will not be charged for cancellations made within 4 days of the event. Cancellations within 48 hours of an OSAC event will be charged at half price. No-shows will be charged at full price. Thank you for understanding!
