Make Your Counts Count

During the fall Steven Crawford finance trainings it became evident that many districts were not fully reporting their SPEd and Gifted students, therefore not receiving the maximum funding for the students they serve. As requested by superintendents, this training is designed to train school personnel to prepare now to ensure that ALL students are accuratelly counted on October 1, 2021.

Agenda Coming Soon!

Target Audience:

District administrators, coordinators and those responsible for data reports.

Districts provide many and varied services to students, especially students who qualify for gifted or special education services. It is imperative that the data provided for funding accurately reflects those services, to receive appropriate reimbursement. In this training, attendees will review the process of gathering data for these programs, including reviewing and developing GT Plans as well as special ed eligibility and documentation, with the goal of maximizing district reimbursement.
