Presented by:

Ronal Flanagan, retired superintendent and former science teacher, has taught science and method classes at the college level and has mentored science teachers  at all levels.  As an alternatively certified science teacher himself, Ron knows how to help other teachers develop high quality, interactive teaching strategies, focusing on the scientific method of teaching.

 

Target Audience:

All science teachers, grades 3-12, (see class listings above)

 

Purpose:

This training is designed to provide teachers with the skills to teach the scientific method using easily accessible materials and utilizing effective, interactive instructional strategies to keep students engaged and excited as they learn the state standards.

 

Cost:

$100 per session for secondary sessions 

Add $50 per session non-member districts

Cancellation Policy:

Since meals, presenters, training materials, and other costs are pre-paid by OSAC, please provide notice of cancellation at least 4 days prior to any OSAC event you are registered to attend. Your district will not be charged for cancellations made within 4 days of the event. Cancellations within 48 hours of an OSAC event will be charged at half price. No-shows will be charged at full price. Thank you for understanding!
