Agreement
These Terms govern your use of osac.us and your registration for OSAC memberships, trainings, workshops, meetings, and conferences. By using this site or registering for an OSAC event, you agree to them. If you are registering for a school district or on another person's behalf, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
Membership
Membership is open to educational entities and individuals in Oklahoma. Member benefits, including reduced registration rates, apply only while membership is current. Membership runs [annually on a July 1–June 30 basis, matching our fiscal year / continuously until cancelled — confirm], and covers [the member district and all of its employees / the named individual — confirm]. Membership dues are [refundable / non-refundable — confirm].
Registration and payment
Registration is confirmed when we receive your completed registration and, where a fee applies, payment or an approved purchase order or invoice arrangement. Member and non-member rates are shown with each event.
If the price displayed on an event page differs from the amount charged at checkout, stop and contact us before paying. We will confirm the correct rate and honor it.
Seats in some sessions are limited and are filled in the order registrations are received.
Cancellation Policy
Since meals, presenters, training materials, and other costs are pre-paid by OSAC, please provide notice of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to any OSAC event you are registered to attend. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance receive a half refund. No-shows receive no refund. Free events are non-refundable. Thank you for understanding!
You may send a substitute in your place at no additional charge. Email info@osac.us before the session begins so we have the correct name on the roster.
If OSAC cancels a session, you will receive a full refund or a credit toward a future session, at your choice. We are not responsible for travel or lodging costs.
Multi-session trainings and credit
Some trainings require attendance on every scheduled date to receive credit. Attendance requirements are stated on each event page. Partial attendance does not earn partial credit and does not entitle you to a refund.
Training materials and intellectual property
Site content and materials provided at OSAC events — presentations, handouts, agendas, templates — belong to OSAC or to the presenter who created them. You may use them within your own district for educational and administrative purposes. Please do not reproduce, distribute, resell, or publish them outside your district, or present them as your own, without written permission.
The OSAC name and logo may not be used to imply endorsement of a product, service, or organization without our written consent.
Professional development is not professional advice
OSAC trainings address topics that intersect state and federal requirements, including student counts, cost accounting and data reporting, class size audits, accreditation, special education, behavior threat assessment, and fraud prevention. Our sessions are professional development. They are not legal, financial, audit, or compliance advice, and they do not create an advisory relationship between OSAC and your district.
Requirements change, and how they apply depends on your district's circumstances. Your district remains solely responsible for its own compliance, filings, and reporting, and should consult its own legal counsel, its auditor, or the Oklahoma State Department of Education on any specific question. Attending an OSAC training does not guarantee any particular outcome in an audit, accreditation review, or investigation.
Acceptable use
Please do not interfere with the operation of this site, attempt to access accounts or areas you are not authorized to use, scrape or harvest contact information, or submit false registration details.
Employee Portal
The Employee Portal is for authorized OSAC staff only. Do not attempt to access it without authorization, and keep your credentials confidential.
Third-party links and services
We link to third-party resources, including shared agenda documents and our social media pages, and we rely on third-party services for registration and payment. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided "as is." We work to keep event dates, locations, and pricing accurate, but we do not warrant that everything on the site is error-free or current, and we may correct errors at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Oklahoma law, OSAC's total liability arising from your use of this site or attendance at an OSAC event will not exceed the amount you paid us for the registration or membership at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost time, travel costs, or claims arising from your district's own compliance decisions.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Muskogee County], Oklahoma.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The version posted when you register governs that registration.
